So Wilmer said that 'We are fully confident and there is no option to fail. That is why we have stopped. Our return is important for the ongoing research of thruster tests on Earth by NASA and Boeing.

NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmers arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) via Starliner from Florida on June 5. Where both of them had to spend about eight days. However, their mission was extended indefinitely due to a malfunction in Starliner. Five of the 28 thrusters of Starliner failed upon reaching the space station, and several others were damaged. Efforts are underway to fix them.
