Raipur, 22 August (HS). Chhattisgarh Congress staged a massive protest near the ED office in Raipur on Thursday. Many big leaders including Bhupesh Baghel, Deepak Baij, Satyanarayan Sharma were present in the protest. All of them protested demanding a JPC inquiry into the Hindenburg case and the resignation of the SEBI chief. While addressing the protest, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel warned the investigating agencies.
Addressing the protest, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that if the Congress government comes to power, the raids conducted by the agencies will be investigated. Bhupesh Baghel said that the officials of ED, IT, DRI and CBI should listen, the day our government comes, a committee will be formed under the leadership of a Supreme Court judge and all the cases of raids will be investigated. Officials should improve their attitude.
He said that the Central Government is a weak government standing on crutches. Officials should stop taking political action at the behest of this government. The way the Central Government has helped Adani to get business is a big scam. All that is not included in the Hindenburg Report. That is why Congress wants that as per Rahul Gandhi's demand, the entire matter should be investigated by a joint parliamentary committee and before that SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch should resign.
