Identification and treatment campaign launched at Community Health Center Magarlod

Dhamtari, 7 December (Hindustan Reporter). Under the direction of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. UL Kaushik, “Nikshay – Niramay Chhattisgarh” 100-day identification and treatment campaign 2024-25 was launched at Community Health Center Magarlod.

In this program, survey will be conducted by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Chhattisgarh under TB Eradication Programme, Leprosy Eradication Programme, Veterans Programme. Mitanin and members of the survey team will carry out activities for TB, leprosy and elderly care during the campaign. The program was inaugurated in the presence of Neetu Khilavan Sahu, President Nagar Panchayat Magarlod and Block Medical Officer Dr. Sharda Thakur and health staff.

Block Medical Officer said that, in the first phase of 100-day intensive campaign from December 7 to 22, publicity and participation activities will be done by doing door-to-door survey, making a list of high risk, TB, leprosy suspects, collecting samples, in the second phase from December 23 to February 28. Mobilization for measurement up activities and follow up Activities, Phase III follow up from March 1 to March 15, Phase IV from March 16 to March 23, final reporting will be compiled. An appeal has been made to all departments, health teams and people to make the program successful.
