ICC Ranking: Yashasvi Jaiswal has performed brilliantly in the ongoing five-Test series between India and England. He has scored double centuries in two consecutive test matches against the opposing team. Now they have got a big benefit from this. ICC has announced the latest rankings on Wednesday. In which Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved 15th position by doing long jump. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin have also benefited a lot. Apart from this, England batsman Ben Duckett has also benefited.
Yashasvi Jaiswal took a big leap
Indian players have created a stir in the latest ICC Test rankings. Jaiswal, who scored his second consecutive century in the third Test match against England, has jumped by 14 points. Now he has reached 15th position. He has 699 points in his account. This young batsman has so far scored 545 runs against England. He is the highest run scorer for India. Apart from Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma has reached 12th position with 732 points. Meanwhile, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has moved from 41st to 34th.
Jadeja and Ashwin benefit
Jadeja performed tremendously in the Rajkot test. He used the ball and bat to destroy the opposition players. This Chennai player scored 112 runs in the first innings. Now he has benefited from this in the latest ICC Test rankings. He has reached 34th position with 595 rating points. Apart from this, he has reached third place in the bowling rankings by taking 7 wickets. Whereas, Ashwin has secured second place. So Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel have reached 75th and 100th position respectively.
Virat Kohli remains in top 10
Kane Williamson remains on top in the latest ICC Test rankings. Despite not being a part of the India vs England series, Virat Kohli is included in the top 10. He is at 7th position with 752 rating points. Batsman Ben Duckett, who scored a tremendous century against India, has also gained in the ICC Test rankings. He has reached 13th position with 719 points. He has gained 12 places.
