ICC bans former coach for 6 years for match fixing deal

The International Cricket Council has announced a big decision on Tuesday. Sunny Dhillon, a former assistant coach of a franchise, has been banned for 6 years after being found guilty of violating the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) corruption code. Actually, Sunny Dhillon had tried to fix some matches in Abu Dhabi T-10 League 2021.

Apart from Dhillon, there were 8 people involved who were found guilty of code violations in the Abu Dhabi T-10 League.

ICC issued order

On December 10, ICC sentenced Sunny Dhillon to a major punishment of 6 years. The ICC in its press release said that Sunny Dhillon has been found guilty of breaching the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) Anti-Corruption Code and has been banned from all forms of cricket for a period of 6 years. Dhillon is a former assistant coach of the team in the Abu Dhabi T-10 League. However, ICC has not announced the name of this team.
