IB is busy investigating the syndicate of seized hashish worth Rs 15 crore in East Champaran, Bihar | News India

East Champaran, August 24 (HS). On a tip-off, the police arrested two drug carriers from Ghogharha Bairiya village under Harsiddhi police station area of ​​East Champaran district in Bihar with 60.5 kg of drugs (charas) and are now looking for their master.

The two arrested carriers are identified as Sajan Kumar and Raju Kumar of Harsiddhi police station area. Apart from the police, the IB team is also interrogating them. A bike and their mobile phones have also been recovered from the arrested smugglers, which are being investigated.

A case under Arms Act is registered against Raju in Turkaulia and Harsiddhi police stations. The international price of the seized hashish is said to be around 15 crores. Apart from this, the search is on for a big smuggler who is said to be connected to Bariyadih in Harsiddhi. The IB team is also engaged in investigating the entire syndicate.

The police team included DSP Areraj Ranjan Kumar, Police Station Head Harsiddhi Nirbhay Kumar, Sugauli Amit Kumar Singh, Munna Kumar of the Technical Cell, SI Ravi Ranjan Kumar, PSI Vibha Kumari, Shikha Kumari, Santoshi Kumari, Jamadar Parmanand Kumar, Nityanand Dubey of the Technical Cell, Kumar Chiranjeevi along with armed forces.
