IAS Rakhi Gupta presented the Punjabi song 'Mahiya' at Guru Nanak Dev University.

Amritsar: Punjabi song 'Mahiya' representing Punjabi culture was presented by Ms. Rakhi Gupta, senior IAS officer of Punjab, in the premises of Guru Nanak Dev University today. The Vice Chancellor of the University and Army officers were also present during the public presentation of the song 'Mahiya' remembering the deeds of our brave soldiers deployed on the country's borders. This song has been recorded by White Hill Company and the voice has been given by Rakhi Gupta.

Speaking to the press on this occasion, Mrs. Rakhi Gupta said that it is a moment of great joy that my song 'Mahiya' presenting the Punjabi heritage is being presented in the premises of Guru Nanak Dev University. On this occasion I am grateful to all of you for your support and encouragement. Your presence will greatly encourage my musical endeavors. He said that Punjab is the land of warriors. This is the land where Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa. Punjab has a leading role in the Indian Army. It is because of our brave soldiers deployed on the borders of the country that we are able to live and enjoy life with a sense of freedom and security. We also salute the spirit and sacrifice of those families whose family members are serving in the army. This song is also dedicated to the heroic story of our brave soldiers. This song is not just a tune; It is a reflection of our rich Punjabi heritage and culture. It is a tribute to the traditions handed down to us by our ancestors, which resonate at the deepest levels of our consciousness.

She said that on this occasion, I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the members of my family, whose love and encouragement has been my guide during this journey. Your continued belief in me has given me the strength to pursue my passion fearlessly. I would also like to thank all my friends and relatives whose love and encouragement have inspired me to pursue my musical commitment further. Your words of encouragement have strengthened my resolve. On this important occasion let us remember our rich cultural background and try to preserve it. It is our responsibility to ensure that the young generation remains connected to its roots. Let us all understand the importance of our rich traditions and make efforts to propagate it.

Let it be known that Mrs. Rakhi Gupta Bhandari is a senior IAS officer of Punjab. Mrs. Rakhi Gupta is a 1997 Punjab batch officer and has completed her course from the National Defense Academy which led to her joining the Army. Smt.
