Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that during the tenure of the UPA government, the public's faith in democracy had begun to waver, but since the BJP government has been formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi, there has been a confidence among the people of the country. That India will become a developed country by the year 2047 and Modi will fulfill this resolution. Shekhawat said that I work as per the public expectations and give account of my work. My aim is to maintain public trust.

At the Holi Milan function in Lohawat on Saturday, Shekhawat said that ever since the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi in 2014, it has been continuously working with the resolve to empower the poor. The path of development goes through villages, poor and farmers. Many schemes for poor welfare have been run during this period. During this period, 25 crore people have come out of the quagmire of poverty, who have started living middle class lives today. Tax collection is increasing in the country. Last month's tax collection was Rs 1.84 lakh crore. When such a huge amount of money comes in the form of tax collection, there is a change in the lives of the poor. Modi has built houses for 3 crore poor. Now 2 crore more houses will be built. A house will be built for one person each. Shekhawat said that till 2014, 62 percent of the houses did not have toilets. After 2014, 11 crore toilets were built in the country. 45 crore bank accounts opened and 7 crore people got Ayushman health insurance coverage.

The BJP candidate said that in the year 2014 the party had set a target of 272 seats. No one was accepting our goal, but we won 282 seats. In the year 2019, the target of crossing 300 was set, even then no one believed and we won 303 seats. This time the target has been set to exceed 400, in which BJP will single-handedly win more than 370 seats. Lotus will blossom on 25 seats from Rajasthan with a greater vote margin than in the previous elections.

visited temples

Shekhawat visited the temple of folk deity Shri Pabuji Rathod Maharaj at Kolu Pabuji in Lohawat assembly constituency. After circumambulating the temple, prayed for prosperity in the country and the state. Sitting under the Neem tree in the temple premises, the achievements, various programs and schemes of the Modi government were discussed in detail. Shekhawat went to the holy place Jambha and had darshan of Jambho Ji Maharaj at Guru Jambheshwar Temple. Phalodi MLA Pabbaram Vishnoi, Animal Welfare Board Chairman Jaswant Singh Vishnoi, District President Manohar Paliwal, social worker Pappuram Dara and many officials, public representatives and villagers were present.

RLP leader joins BJP

Satyanarayana Rao, who was the RLP candidate from Lohawat Assembly, joined BJP along with many sarpanches and Panchayat Samiti members. BJP candidate Shekhawat wore Safa and State Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar included everyone in the party by wearing BJP's dupatta. Earlier, BJP candidate Shekhawat held election discussion over morning tea in Lohawat.
