Nawada, 01 November (HS). Public representatives and social workers of Nawada organized a felicitation-cum-farewell ceremony on Friday on the retirement of outgoing District Magistrate of Nawada Ashutosh Kumar Verma. Addressing the citizens and public representatives, current District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Verma said that he will not forget the love of the people of Nawada throughout his life.
He said that I have done whatever I could for the development of Nawada and will continue to make efforts for the upliftment of Nawada in future too. Local MLA Vibha Devi praised his successful tenure and wished him a healthy, long life and active life. While presenting the corsage and bouquet, the MLA wished Ashutosh Kumar Verma to remain more active after retirement and said that he will always remain active to fulfill the remaining expectations of the people of Nawada.
Expressing good wishes on behalf of the residents of Nawada Assembly constituency, he expressed hope that the outgoing District Magistrate will keep an eye on the many pending schemes proposed by me. Ashutosh Kumar Verma also mentioned the easy loyalty and dedication of Nawada MLA Vibha Devi and said that I may have retired but the sense of responsibility will always remain.
