I want you to be friends with India, veteran Pakistani businessman advised PM

India Pakistan Relations: A veteran businessman of Pakistan has appealed to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to improve relations with India.

Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with top businessmen of the country in Karachi, which is called the financial capital of Pakistan. In which he asked for suggestions to bring the country's economy back on track.

In this meeting, Arif Habib, considered a veteran businessman of Pakistan, appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Sharif to get the bailout package from the IMF. He also suggested joining hands at two places.

Habib told the Prime Minister of Pakistan, 'I want you to extend the hand of friendship in two places. One is with Pakistan's neighbors and that includes India. I think it will give very good results. You can also shake hands with any prisoner in Biju or Adiala jail. Both these initiatives will have positive results.

Habib was referring to the current government's efforts to establish cordial relations with India and former PM Imran Khan. Because after India removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has broken trade relations with India. However, the people of Pakistan are getting angry due to this.

Now Pakistan also feels that it has made a big mistake by stopping trade with India. Recently, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had also admitted that, if Pakistan trades directly with India, then Pakistani traders can buy Indian products at cheaper prices. After discussion with the concerned parties, a decision will be taken in the national interest whether to resume trade with India or not.
