Lucknow, May 10 (HS). Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the National Constitution Conference organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, said that for me, power is a tool to improve the lives of the people. I have to get 90 percent people of this country to participate.
He said that the Constitution has opened doors for crores of people. But attack on politics through CBI and ED is an attack on the Constitution. Appointment of RSS people in all institutions is an attack on the Constitution. Demonetization without asking the public is an attack on the Constitution. Implementing Agniveer without asking the Army is an attack on the Constitution. I am ready to debate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi anywhere. But I know Modi, he will not debate with me.
Rahul Gandhi said that Narendra Modi is not a 'Prime Minister', he is a 'King'. He has nothing to do with the Constitution, Parliament, Cabinet. The Constitution of India reflects the thoughts of many great people like Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Baba Saheb, Basavanna ji. Lakhs of people of the country fought for this thinking.
The Congress leader said that there are two types of people in politics. One who runs after power all his life and does not want to see the truth. Others are those who see the truth and accept it. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Periyar, Basavanna and Lord Buddha were such people.
Rahul Gandhi said that earlier the future of the people of India was decided even before they were born. It was decided even before birth what rights they would have. The future of the child is being decided in advance but people in politics do not accept the truth. Crores of people of India have lived like this for hundreds of years. Who knows how many skills have been wasted due to this?
