Meanwhile, Champai Soren has broken his silence. Talking to journalists in Delhi, he said that I have not met anyone. I came to Delhi for personal work. I am not able to understand who is saying all this.
When the journalists asked him whether he wanted to meet the BJP leaders here, he denied this too. He said that I neither wanted to meet any BJP leader nor did I meet them. During this, the journalists asked him the reason for his displeasure with JMM. He said that I have told this earlier. When he was asked about contesting the election on JMM's symbol, he said that I have informed about all these things earlier. Saying this, he moved ahead. The discussion has spread rapidly in the political corridors that he is going to join BJP. However, this thing is limited to speculations till now. On the other hand, all the MLAs who were said to be leaving JMM with him have completely rejected it.
It is noteworthy that Champai Soren's post of August 18 has caused a political upheaval in Jharkhand. Champai had written that in the meeting of the legislative party held on July 3, he had said that a new chapter of my life is going to start from today. I had three options. First, to retire from politics, second, to form my own separate organization and third, if I find a partner on this path, then to travel further with him. From that day till today and till the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, all options are open for me in this journey.
