Contested and won from two seats

Actually, in this Lok Sabha election, Rahul Gandhi had filed his candidature from Rae Bareli seat of UP and Wayanad seat of Kerala. He defeated BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh by a margin of 3,90,030 votes. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi defeated Annie Raja of CPI (M) by a margin of more than three lakh votes in Wayanad. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections also, Rahul Gandhi contested from two seats, but lost to Smriti Irani in Amethi. This time Rahul Gandhi has won from both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats. In such a situation, he will have to choose one seat.
