Haridwar, September 10 (HS). Police arrested the husband and father-in-law who were absconding in the murder case of a married woman. Police presented both of them in the court from where they have been sent to jail.
According to information, a married woman resident of village Sohalpur Sikroda of Kaliyar police station area died under suspicious circumstances. Father of the deceased woman Kanwarpal Singh resident Dadhera Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh gave a written complaint to the police and told that in February 2013 he had married his daughter Pooja to Nitin. He alleged that husband Nitin and in-laws killed his daughter Pooja by giving her poisonous substance. On the complaint, police started searching for husband Nitin, father-in-law Palla alias Pal Singh, mother-in-law Savita, sister-in-law Kamini, brother-in-law Rahul, sister-in-law Lakshmi by registering a case under dowry murder and other related sections. Police arrested the accused husband and father-in-law from Bedpur Chowk and presented them in the court, from where they were sent to jail.
SSI Aamir Khan said that husband Nitin and father-in-law Pal Singh alias Palla were arrested and presented in the court, from where both were sent to jail.
