Hungary's 100th minute goal beats Scotland 1-0

Hungary scored a goal in the 100th minute of the match to beat Scotland 1-0 in the Euro Cup football tournament and with this the Hungarian team kept alive its hopes of reaching the last-16 in another major tournament.

Hungary finished third in Group A with three points after Kevin Csobath scored in the final moments of the match. Scotland, which has not yet made it to the knockout stage of the Euro Cup or the World Cup, is fourth with two points. Both teams struggled to control the ball until the final minutes of the match. Despite having 61 percent possession in the first half, Scotland failed to score. After half time, Hungary changed its strategy and started passing the ball continuously.

Captain Dominik Szoboszlai played dangerously in the centre. Scotland had a review for a penalty in the 79th minute but the referee turned it down. The Scottish goalkeeper blocked Hungary's attempt a minute before the end of stoppage time, but Kevin finally scored in the 100th minute to give Hungary the win.
