According to Tantra, the sadhna which is done to win over the worldly or external elements is called 'Gair Vidya Sadhna' but where there is no knowledge or ignorance, it is called Up Vidya.
Education is the only means of human welfare, the other two are just a waste of time. The unconscious element is the subject of those who practice to gain supernatural power. On gaining such power, people use it to enhance their prestige in society or to destroy it. Man should practice to become Brahma, not to become a demon.
