Addressing the meeting on this occasion, Sunny Kant Chib said that his movement will continue until Jammu and Kashmir is given the status of a full state by the Central Government. He said that despite making Jammu and Kashmir a Union Territory, even today unemployed youth along with government employees are on the streets and they are not being heard.

He said that the temporary employees of Jal Shakti Department as well as Electricity Department are continuously protesting regarding their demands and they are continuously being given false assurances by the BJP government. He said that the farmers of the country have been protesting for the last several days regarding their demands and the government is lathicharged on these farmers. He said that a big protest will be organized by the Human Rights Council in support of the farmers.

He appealed to the people to unite and fight against the wrong policies of the government. On this occasion, former Sarpanch Ravinder Singh said that now the time has come to openly fight against the wrong policies of the government. He said that the government is continuously taking decisions against the Constitution. A large number of local people including Joginder Kumar, Nishu Kumar, Sikandar Kumar were present during the meeting.
