Court ordered

A team of Advocate Commissioner again reached Sambhal today to survey Jama Masjid. Earlier on November 19, the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Aditya Singh in Chandausi of Sambhal district had ordered the Advocate Commissioner of Jama Masjid to conduct a survey. Petitioner advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said that the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) has directed to constitute an ‘Advocate Commission’ for the survey of Jama Masjid. The court said that videography and photography survey should be conducted by the commission and the report should be filed in the court.

Vishnu Shankar Jain’s claim

In this case, ASI, Uttar Pradesh Government, Jama Masjid Committee and District Magistrate of Sambhal have been made parties. Advocate Vishnu Jain said, “Harihar temple in Sambhal is the center of our faith. According to our religious beliefs, Kalki incarnation in Dashavatar is believed to be from here. In the year 1529, Babar tried to demolish the temple and convert it into a mosque. It is a protected area by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). There will be no encroachment of any kind. There are many signs and symbols that are related to Hindu temples. Keeping all these things in mind, the court has issued this order.
