Huge rise in Indian stock market, Sensex up 901 points

The Indian stock market closed with a strong rise today i.e. Wednesday, 06 November. The market opened in the morning with a gain of 300 points. The Indian stock market today closed at 80,378 with a jump of 901 points. Nifty also closed at 24,484, up 270 points.

Meanwhile, BSE Smallcap closed at 56,008 with a gain of 1,077 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 rose and 5 declined. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 41 rose and 9 declined. A jump was seen in all the local indices of NSE. The IT sector witnessed the highest increase of 4.05 percent.

Strong rise in IT shares

Today, shares of 25 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green zone, while shares of the remaining 5 companies closed in the red zone. Similarly, out of 50 companies of Nifty 50, shares of 41 companies closed in the green zone and shares of the remaining 9 companies closed in the red zone with a decline. On Wednesday, shares of IT companies rose while banking shares fell.

Shares of these banks suffered a huge blow

Shares of Bajaj Finserv, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India, UltraTech Cement, Tata Motors, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, ITC and Power Grid also gained today. . Shares of Titan fell by 1.72 per cent today in trading session due to weak financial results. IndusInd Bank fell by 1.14 per cent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.79 per cent, Axis Bank by 0.35 per cent and HDFC Bank by 0.22 per cent.

The market improved on Tuesday and closed with a rise.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on November 5, the Sensex had risen by 1,180 points from the day's low of 78,296. After the day's trading, it closed at 79,476 with a gain of 694 points.

Nifty also improved by 371 points from the low of 23,842. It closed at 24,213 with a jump of 217 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 rose and 9 declined. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 39 were up and 11 were down. The highest increase of 2.84% was seen in the metal sector of NSE.
