Huge quantity of beer recovered in Nawada, smuggler absconded

Nawada, 1 August (HS). Police got a big success on Thursday in Warisaliganj police station area of ​​Nawada. Police recovered a huge amount of canned beer from a bush near a brick kiln in Manjour village. But as soon as they got the hint of police arrival, the liquor smugglers managed to escape from the spot.

Warisliganj police station in-charge Inspector Rupesh Kumar Sinha said that information was received that foreign liquor was hidden for sale near the brick kiln in Manjour village. The police station in-charge informed the senior officer about the information and formed a special team and took action. In which a large quantity of canned beer was recovered.

Police said that during the raid, 67 litres of beer in 134 cans of 500 ml each was recovered from 3 cartons and a sack. The liquor smuggler managed to escape after seeing the police. The raiding team was led by ASI Santosh Kumar Singh. Police has registered an FIR and is engaged in further action.
