Lucknow, 09 December (HS). Violence against Hindus in the neighboring country Bangladesh is not showing any signs of stopping. There is huge anger regarding this across the country including Uttar Pradesh. In various districts of Uttar Pradesh, sloganeering, burning of effigies and demonstrations are being held by social and religious organizations and pro-Hindu organizations against the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus.
Hindu Dharma Raksha Samiti in Moradabad found a unique way to protest against atrocities and violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. The people of the committee registered their protest by hitting the effigy of Mohammad Yunus with shoes. On behalf of the committee members, a call has also been given to Hindus to gather in every temple of Moradabad on Tuesday and recite Hanuman Chalisa.
Protests continue in Saharanpur under the leadership of spiritual guru Swami Dipankar Ji Maharaj. The priests of all the temples of the city have called upon the Hindu people to protest against the misdeeds of the Yunus government of Bangladesh. After this, organizations organizing religious events on Tuesday have also announced to protest by wearing black bands.
In the state capital Lucknow, a massive demonstration has been organized on Tuesday in the grounds of Lucknow University in front of Hanuman Setu Temple. There will be a big demonstration with the collective participation of Bangladeshi Hindu Raksha Sangharsh Samiti and Hindu organizations. In earlier protests in Lucknow, a group of Muslims had burnt the effigy of Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh. There was also a massive protest by business organizations against the Yunus government.
The saints and sages gathered in Prayagraj Mahakumbh also expressed their anger over the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. After the resentment among the saints and sages, the Municipal Corporation leaders including the Mayor of Prayagraj opposed the Yunus government. Similarly, in Prayagraj, business organizations protested fiercely and burnt the effigy of Yunus.
In the last 48 hours, a huge rally was taken out in Bulandshahr and a big demonstration took place in Ambedkar Park in Rampur. Similarly, Hindu organizations led by Noida MP Mahesh Sharma demonstrated against Mohammad Yunus. MP Arun Govil participated in the demonstration in Meerut.
In other districts of the state including Gorakhpur and Azamgarh, many demonstrations were held under the banner of Hindu Raksha Vahini Sangharsh Samiti to protect the Hindus of Bangladesh. At some places, demonstrations took place from morning till evening.
