Before the swearing-in ceremony, the Naib Singh Saini government of the state has made a big increase in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants. In this regard, a letter has been issued by the Women and Children Department to all the district program and development project officers.
With this decision of the state government, the salary of these workers will increase from Rs 750 to Rs 400. The new rates will be applicable from August 16, 2024, in such a situation the arrears of August and September will also be available. This will benefit 23000 Anganwadi workers and 21000 Anganwadi helpers. Let us tell you that the CM had announced to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers in August, although the code of conduct came into effect in the state a week later, but now after the elections are over and BJP returned to power, the Haryana government has increased the honorarium of Anganwadi workers. Orders have been issued in this regard.
Salary of Haryana Anganwadi workers/helpers will increase
- According to the order of the Women and Child Development Department, Anganwadi workers with more than 10 years of experience are currently getting an honorarium of Rs 14 thousand. It has been increased by Rs 750. After the increased honorarium, he will get Rs 14750.
- Anganwadi workers with less than 10 years of experience are currently getting an honorarium of Rs 12500. After increase in honorarium of Rs 750, he will now get an honorarium of Rs 13250.
- Mini Anganwadi workers are currently being given an honorarium of Rs 12500. Now their honorarium has been increased by Rs 750. Now he will get an honorarium of Rs 13250.
- Anganwadi helpers are currently being given an honorarium of Rs 7500. Their honorarium has been increased by Rs 400. Now he will get an honorarium of Rs 7900.
- 23 thousand 486 Anganwadi workers, 489 mini Anganwadi workers and 21 thousand 732 Anganwadi assistants of the state will benefit from the increased honorarium.
