Citing statistics, Rahul Gandhi strongly attacked the policies of the Central Government. He said that in the last 10 years, more than 152 government examination papers have been leaked across the country, due to which the future of crores of youth is hanging in the balance.

Lack of Accountability: There is no express provision in the law to impose direct criminal liability on top officials of key exam conducting agencies (such as NTA) and accountable ministries.

Delay in investigation process: The investigation of the case takes years, due to which the evidence becomes weak with time and by taking advantage of legal maneuvers, the main accused come out on bail.

No financial recovery and compensation: The students affected by the cancellation of papers do not get any compensation for the financial and mental losses, while crores of rupees are extorted from the youth in the name of examination fees.
Demand for fair discussion in Parliament and resignation of Union Education Minister
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party made it clear that unless the government removes the shortcomings of this law and brings radical changes in the examination system, it is not possible for the students to get justice. He has demanded a comprehensive and fair discussion on this during the session of Parliament.
Also, the opposition has reiterated the demand for the resignation of the Union Education Minister citing impartial investigation.
