Hrithik-Deepika's Fighter on top in the first six months of 2024

Mumbai: Bollywood's earnings have fallen by 20 percent in the first six months of this year compared to last year. Last year Bollywood earned 1450 crores in the first six months, this time it has come down to 1081 crores. In these six months, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's 'Fighter' has been on top in terms of earnings. The film 'Fighter' earned 201 crores. However, trade experts believe that despite having actors like Hrithik and Deepika and a creator like Siddharth Anand, even though 'Fighter' has topped the box office, the film's earnings have been disappointing.

In the first six months of this year, Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor's 'Teri Baatein Mein Aise Uljha Jiya' proved to be a surprise hit. It earned 84 crores. Another surprise hit was Yami Gautam's 'Article 370'. This film earned 77 crores.

Other big hits in this half-year period include Ajay Devgn's Shaitan and Sharvari Wagh starrer Munjiya and Crew starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

The biggest flop of this period was Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film could barely earn 59 crores from a budget of 300 crores.
