Weather of Punjab: People have got some relief due to the activation of Western Disturbance in Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and strong winds in Punjab today. Along with this, an alert has also been issued regarding heat wave in some areas. The temperature of the state which had crossed 48 degrees has seen a slight drop today.
According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert for heatwave has been issued in 3 circles of Punjab – Faridkot, Muktsar and Bathinda. Along with this, an orange alert has been issued for rain and strong winds along with heatwave in Fazilka.
Talking about the other 19 districts of Punjab, a yellow alert has been issued today due to heat wave, rain and strong winds.
