Ingredients to make the famous Ahmedabadi taste Handva

- Bengal gram lentil,
- urad dal,
- Water, as needed
- Fenugreek seeds,
- Yogurt, milk,
- Green chilly,
- Ginger paste,
- salt to taste,
- turmeric powder,
- Soda,
- Chopped coriander leaves,
- Oil,
- Rye,

- Asafoetida
- white sesame seeds,
- chilli powder.
How to make famous Ahmedabadi taste Handva

First of all, put rice, lentils and fenugreek seeds in a vessel, wash them with two-three waters and soak them for 5-7 hours.
Step-2 –
Now drain the water and grind the lentils, rice and curd in a mixer jar and let the yeast rise.

After fermentation, add milk, carrots, green chillies, coriander, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, asafoetida, jaggery, white sesame seeds and salt as per taste and mix well. – Now add baking soda and mix it to make a thick mixture.
Step-4 –
Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, white sesame seeds, sweet neem leaves, spread the mixture and cook on low flame. Cook the handvo till it turns golden on both sides, then cut it into slices and serve with chutney.
