How the property was transferred without paying the amount – High Court

Jaipur, 29 February (Hindustan Reporter). Rajasthan High Court has issued notice to JDA and others asking how the property was transferred without sale deed and payment of amount. The division bench of CJ MM Srivastava and Justice Bhuvan Goyal gave this order on the PIL of Public Against Corruption.

In the petition, advocate PC Bhandari told that in the year 2006, Mukund Goyal dedicated thousands of square yards of land in Gajsinghpura of Ajmer Road to JDA and converted it into residential under 90B and took a single lease from JDA. Later the property was also registered. In the year 2020, by submitting an application in the name of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, the earlier lease deed was canceled and the lease was taken in the name of Kedia Grand Hotels and Palace Limited Director Gaurav Kedia. The petition said that once the property is registered, the lease is not transferred without selling it to another party. For this, along with stamp duty, income tax also has to be paid. Whereas in this matter, by colluding, the lease deed was canceled and transferred in the name of Kedia Grant Hotel and Palace.
