Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a press conference regarding the railway budget that armor system will be installed in 10 thousand engines to deal with rail accidents. Rs. 19848 crore budget approved for Uttar Pradesh
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Rs 3338 crore has been sanctioned for railways in Haryana. 100 percent electrification has been done here. Rs 2698 crore has been sanctioned to Himachal Pradesh. Work is being done here using Himalayan Tunneling Method (HTM). Rs 19848 crore has been sanctioned for Uttar Pradesh. 100 percent electrification has been done here too.
Railway's special preparation for Kumbh
He said that 157 stations are being constructed under Amrit Bharat Station. Special preparations are being made for Kumbh. More than 40 projects are being cut down. The action plan was made 3 years ago. Prayagraj station has been redeveloped. Special vehicles will be run for Kumbh. A joint command of the railways will be formed.
