Havells needs no introduction today. Havells' journey began with the name 'Haveli Ram Gandhi'. The Havells brand was started by school teacher Price Rai Gupta. He came to Delhi from Punjab and started the electrical business. He was the distributor of Havells Ram Gandhi. Later, Havells Ram Gandhi, which was facing financial crisis, was bought by Parthana Roy. Thus Havells Ram Gandhi became Havells of Price Roy.
