Police solved Jeetan Sahni murder case on the basis of agreement papers.
The murder mystery of Jitan Sahni, father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni, has finally been solved. The action of Bihar Police in solving this case is commendable. SSP Jagunath Reddy explained in detail how the police succeeded in solving this case with the help of agreement papers. He said that during the investigation, an agreement paper of money transaction between Jitan Sahni and accused Kazim Ansari has also been found.
On the night of the incident, Kazim Ansari had come to meet Jeetan Sahni to get this agreement paper. When he was not successful in his purpose, Kazim along with his friends killed Jeetan Sahni. Through this agreement paper, the police was able to reach Kazim Ansari, because the name of the accused was clearly written in it.
Jeetan Sahni was murdered late night on 15th July. The next day when Jeetan's servant came to his house, he saw his master's body lying soaked in blood. He started shouting. Neighbors also reached there. Police was immediately informed about this. At first the police was assuming that the thieves who came to steal must have committed this murder. Then the police suspected the Kodha gang. Later, considering it a case of mutual rivalry, investigation was started from this angle as well.
On Tuesday itself, the police had picked up four suspects from Supaul village, including a man named Kazim Ansari. Interrogation of all four suspects was started. During the interrogation, Kazim confessed to the murder. Then he told the whole story as to why he killed Jeetan Sahni. But the police did not give any information about who else was involved with Kazim in this murder.
SSP Jagunath Reddy said that Jitan Sahni was murdered in a dispute over money transactions and Kazim Ansari has accepted his involvement in it. Kazim is a resident of Afzala Tola of Supaul Bazar in Ghanshyampur police station area. He had a clothes shop, but due to lack of money, his shop has been closed for a long time.
He had taken a loan of Rs 1.5 lakh.
During interrogation, Kazim Ansari told that he had taken a loan of 1.5 lakhs in installments from Jeetan Sahni at the rate of 4 percent monthly interest by mortgaging his land. For the first time, he took a loan of one lakh in 2022 and then 50 thousand rupees in 2023. After taking the loan, he was not able to repay the money. Kazim told that three days before the murder, he and one of his companions had come to talk to Jeetan Sahni about reducing the interest amount and repaying the loan and returning the land papers, but during the conversation, he had an argument with Jeetan Sahni.
Kazim made a plan
Kazim Ansari said that when he felt that Jeetan Sahni would not return the papers of his land and loan, he along with some of his companions made a plan to forcibly snatch the papers from Jeetan Sahni. Kazim said that the people working in Jeetan Sahni's house leave at around 11 pm. Keeping this in mind, he and his companions entered the house from the back door.
Jeetan started abusing him and then killed him
After entering the house, they woke up Jeetan Sahni and threatened him and asked for his land and loan papers. Jeetan Sahni protested and started abusing, after which they got angry and started attacking Jeetan Sahni with a knife. During this, other people who came with them held Jeetan Sahni's hands and legs. Kazim told that after killing Jeetan Sahni, all these accused tried to find the key to the cupboard containing the papers, so that they could take back their papers, but they could not find the key.
Wooden cupboard thrown into the pond
On this, the accused decided to throw the cupboard in the water in a closed state, so that all the documents would melt and get destroyed. After this, all of them together threw the wooden cupboard in a small pond located behind the house and ran away from there. When Darbhanga police investigated this cupboard, they found agreement papers in it. With this, the police solved the case.
