Jodhpur, 1 October (Hindustan Reporter). Live cartridge found from a young man at Jodhpur Civil Airport. He was about to board a flight from Jodhpur to Delhi and this cartridge was found in the luggage checking at the airport. He is a horse rider and works in Japan. He himself did not know how this cartridge came into his possession. CISF sub-inspectors caught him and handed him over to the airport police station. A case has been registered against him under the Arms Act.
Airport police station head constable Ram Khiladi Meena said that on Monday, a person's luggage was checked on a flight from Jodhpur to Delhi. Then a live cartridge Norka Mark 300 mm was found in his handbag. On this, CISF sub-inspectors Anil Kumar and Kamalnath Ranaut, who were checking the person at the airport, caught him and handed him over to the police station.
Head Constable Ram Khiladi said that the accused is Jaswant Singh, son of Kalyan Singh, a resident of Vijay Nagar Bhatti ki Dhani, Khudiala, Balesar, who has been arrested under the Arms Act.
Investigation revealed that the accused Jaswant Singh works in horse riding in Japan and he had come to Jodhpur village on holidays on 13-14 September. He had to go back to Japan on Monday. During interrogation, the accused told that he had no knowledge about this cartridge, when and how it came into his possession.
