Hooghly/New Delhi, March 01 (HS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal over atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali and said that the Lok Sabha elections will mark the beginning of the end of the TMC government. Prime Minister Modi attacked Trinamool Congress (TMC) while addressing BJP's victory resolution public meeting in Arambag, West Bengal. He said that the incidents of Sandeshkhali are a matter of shame, the main accused was not arrested for almost two months. 'The entire nation is angry after seeing what TMC did to Sandeshkhali's sisters. He appealed to the voters to respond to every injury by voting. He said that 'TMC is confident that it has the support of minorities, but Muslims will also vote against TMC's goonda raj. TMC will lose in the Lok Sabha elections. Modi said that this will start the countdown to his departure from power in Bengal. He said that the whole country is sad and angry seeing what TMC, which beats the drum of Maa, Mati, Manush, has done to the sisters of Sandeshkhali. The TMC leader has crossed all limits of audacity with his sisters and daughters in Sandeshkhali. When the sisters of Sandeshkhali raised their voice, sought help from Mamata didi, in return the Bengal government used all its power to save the TMC leader. But under pressure from BJP, Bengal Police finally arrested the accused yesterday. Modi said that today the people of West Bengal are questioning their CM 'Didi' whether the votes of some people are more important than the atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali. He said that TMC has created a new model of crime and corruption in Bengal. The Prime Minister also criticized the opposition Indi alliance for maintaining silence on the issue of the horrors of Sandeshkhali. The Prime Minister said that the only task left for the Congress and Indi alliance is to support the corrupt, familyists and appeasers, this is the biggest task for them. He said that the leaders of Indi alliance have closed their eyes, nose, ears and mouth on Sandeshkhali like the three monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi. All the senior leaders of the alliance are silent on the Sandeshkhali incident. Taking the Congress chief to task, he said, leave it, all this goes on in Bengal. Accusing the TMC government of being corrupt in all spheres, Modi said that for the Indi alliance leaders, it is paramount to support corrupt and appeasement politics instead of standing with the people oppressed by TMC in Sandeshkhali. The Prime Minister said that in the last 10 years, India has risen from the 11th ranked economy to the 5th ranked economic power. We all have seen how India was cheered in the G-20. Today India is becoming a leader in the space sector. Our Chandrayaan did what no other country in the world could do. Today India is making new records in the sports sector also. It is the good fortune of all of us that after waiting for 5 centuries, after 500 years, Lord Shri Ram is sitting in his grand temple. The Prime Minister said that amidst these achievements of the country, the entire country is also watching the situation of Bengal today. He said I have a guarantee. I promise the people of Bengal that those who looted will have to be returned, this Modi is not going to leave. Modi is not afraid of their abuses and attacks. He said that the one who has looted the poor will have to give it back. He said that West Bengal has been the place of inspiration for the freedom movement. The dream of every child here who gave strong leadership against slavery was that India should achieve new heights of development. And I can say that today's India is fulfilling his same dream!
