Fulfilling the demands of Panchayat Assistants who have been struggling for a long time for increase in their honorarium, job security and against administrative harassment, the State Government has taken a big decision to directly increase their honorarium to Rs 9000 per month. Along with this, under this sensitive decision of the government, orders have been issued to reinstate with immediate effect all those Panchayat assistants who were removed from their posts due to previous movements or other reasons. Not only this, the government has also made a big announcement of withdrawing all those cases through legal process against Panchayat assistants against whom police cases were registered during the protests and demands.
