Honeymoon Horror: Surprising his wife in Canada turned out to be very costly for a newlywed. Actually, while giving her a surprise, there was an explosion in his hand. Due to which his condition became such that one of his hands had to be amputated and he had to remain hospitalized for about 7 months.
According to the information, 23-year-old Levi was married to 24-year-old Amy in Canada. Five days after the marriage, they were on their honeymoon. During this time, their family members were also with them. To surprise his wife, Levi prepared a firecracker, which was to be lit and thrown into the water.
60 seconds after falling into the water, it will explode and form a waterfall several feet above the water level. According to Levi, he made a mistake in making the firecracker. He could not take any part of it because the shop was closed and it exploded before he could throw it into the water.
According to Levi, he was unconscious after the accident. In his confused state, all he remembers is that he couldn't hear anything, he couldn't feel his arms and legs, and he was lying soaked in blood.
When Levi reached the hospital in a critical condition, it was found that both his eardrums were ruptured. He was blind in one eye and his left hand was cut off. He had wounds all over his body, due to which he was in the ICU for 14 days and in the hospital for almost 7 months. After being discharged from the hospital, he had to stay at home for a year. When Levi regained consciousness, he jokingly asked his wife if his private parts were okay.
Levi still goes to rehab three days a week. He got married in 2015 and now has two children. He has a prosthetic arm and has become a motivational speaker. In his lectures, he explains that he thought in his mind that whatever was to happen in his life had happened, but despite all this, God kept him alive and he got this new life.
