Honda CD 110 Dream Features

The Honda Motorcycle launched this bike in the Indian market in 2014 and it was Honda’s cheapest bike in the country at that time. Its ex-showroom price was Rs 41,100. This bike is designed keeping in mind the people who are looking for an affordable, reliable and practical bike.

It used a 109.51 cc air-cooled engine. Its engine produced 8.79 horsepower and torque of 9.30 newton meters, which was great for everyday ride. The company updated this bike over time and equipped with features such as BS6 engines, silent stop/start systems and combined braking system (CBS). Even after this, the grip of the bike on the market started decreasing.

What is the reason for the closure of Honda CD 110 Dream?

The sales of this bike have declined significantly in recent years. According to the report of SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), only 1 unit of this bike was sold in February 2025, which is really shocking. Then, in March 2025 increased with the sale of 33 units, but not a single bike sold in April 2025.

In April 2025, the ex-showroom price of CD 110 Dream was Rs 76,401, the new bike Shine of Honda was Rs 100 to 9,501 more. At that time Shine 100 was priced at Rs 66,900. The design of both the bikes was the same, but the CD 110 Dream engine was slightly larger.
