Jammu, April 4 (Hindustan Reporter) School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu under the guidance and mentorship of Professor Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, CUJ and Abhishek Sharma, DC, Samba inspired the local residents of Samba district to register homestay as a new business.
It is noteworthy that under Sankalp, the skill development course on Homestay Entrepreneurship Development Program for the youth of District Samba has entered the third week, in which practical experience is being provided by experts in the field. In this context, Tourist Officer and course coordinator Rajesh Raina interacted with the course participants and shared his valuable information about the homestay registration process and discussed the success stories of homestays in the region.
The project team informed that during the next week the participants will be taken to reputed institutions as well as resorts, restaurants and homestays to provide practical training. It is pertinent to mention here that the present MoU was signed between District Skills Committee, Samba and School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu in the presence of LG Manoj Sinha during his campus visit.
