Firozabad, 05 August (HS). The Sirsaganj police station team on Monday arrested two accused of murdering a home guard.
Homeguard Sarvesh Kumar was brutally killed by being crushed by a tractor on July 17 in Nagla Khushali village of Sirsaganj police station area. His father Kamal Kishore had lodged a murder case against Akash Kumar, Ranveer Singh alias Bunty, Ajay Kumar alias Manoj and Shivam Kumar at the Nagla Khushali police station. The police had registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Police station in-charge Vaibhav Kumar Singh said that based on a tip-off, the wanted accused Ajay Kumar alias Manoj and Shivam Kumar were arrested from Shikohabad on the service road of National Highway-19 below Haiwatpur cut. The police presented both of them before the court, from where they were sent to jail.
