Home Minister Vijay Sharma will take one to one information from Superintendents of Police regarding law and order | News India

Raipur, 4 September (HS). Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma will hold a review meeting of Bilaspur Range of Police Department during his Bilaspur visit tomorrow, Thursday, 5 September. Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail Department of Chhattisgarh Government, Director General of Police, Secretary of Home Department, Inspector General of Police of Bilaspur Range, and Superintendents of Police of districts of Bilaspur Range will be present in this meeting.

In the meeting, the status of pending serious crimes, unsolved cases of blind murder, stabbing, sword fighting and firing cases will be reviewed. Along with this, the status of pending death cases, pending cases of National and State Human Rights Commission will also be reviewed. Pending cases of crimes against women and children will be discussed and the status of giving compensation to the victims, pending cases of human trafficking, cases of missing women, men and children, crimes against Scheduled Castes and Tribes and distribution of relief amount will be reviewed.

The updated status of chit fund cases, progress of investigation of cases registered under NDPS Act and process of destruction of narcotics, crimes related to cows, vehicle seizure and confiscation proceedings, future action plans regarding law and order of the district and best practices being implemented in the district will be discussed. Important works done by Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police will be reviewed.
