Holi 2024: Holi is one of the important festivals of Hindu religion. Holi festival is a two-day festival, in which Holika Dahan is performed on the night of Holi and Dheti is celebrated the next day.

Many religious beliefs are prevalent regarding this day. It is said that it is very important to observe an auspicious time before Holika Dahan, because without it the festival is not complete.
Auspicious time of Holika Dahan- This year, Holika Dahan will be under the influence of Bhadra Kaal for some time, which will last till 11.13 pm on March 24. In such a situation, the best time for Holika Dahan will be from 11:14 to 12:20 in the night. During this time you can perform Holika Dahan without any interruption.
- How to do Holika Dahan?
- Take a holy bath before performing Holika Dahan puja.
- After taking bath, sit facing east at the place where you are worshiping Holika Dahan.
- Make idols of Holika and Prahlad from cow dung for worship.
- After this, keep Roli, Akshat, flowers, garland of flowers, raw cotton, jaggery, whole turmeric, mug, patasha, coconut, gulal, 5 types of grains and water in a pot.
- After which worship with these things as per the rituals.
- Offer fruits, Gujhiya, sweet puri etc.
- Also worship Lord Narasimha with proper rituals.
- Finally express your wishes in front of Holika Dahan.
