Ramgarh, 24 August (HS). An FIR has been registered in the case of theft from SBI ATM in front of V Mart Mall in Bazaartand of Ramgarh city. Hitachi Payment Service Private Limited employee Indrajit Singh has lodged the FIR. He has told the police that unknown thieves cut the ATM machine with a gas cutter and stole Rs 1,30,200. He has demanded action against the unknown thieves from Ramgarh police in this case.
It is worth noting that there was no guard present at the State Bank of India ATM where the theft took place, nor was any employee posted there. Despite this, this action was taken by the employees of Hitachi Payment Service Private Limited, the company that installed the ATM machine, only to cover up the matter. However, there is also a discussion that the landlord in whose house the ATM machine was installed was given the responsibility to deploy someone for the security of the ATM machine. But he too was very careless.
Fake number given in FIR
The mobile number given by Inderjit Singh, an employee of Hitachi Payment Service Private Limited, at Ramgarh police station is also fake. At the time of filing the FIR, he had given his mobile number as 9060173736. When the number was called, a woman picked up the number and said that it was a wrong number.
Bank management does not seem serious about the theft incident
The thieves took out the money by cutting the ATM machine with a gas cutter. The theft incident is a topic of discussion at every crossroad in Ramgarh district. But the State Bank of India management seems to be very careless about this theft incident. The bank management neither thought it necessary to talk to the police nor did it talk to the security company appointed for the maintenance of the ATM. Even when a fake number was given to the police station, the bank management seemed very indifferent. This clearly means that the bank management is not affected by this theft incident. If a theft takes place in the ATM of this bank at any other place, then also probably the same carelessness will be shown. After this incident, no security arrangements have been made either around the bank or near other ATMs of the bank. This remains a topic of discussion in Ramgarh district.
