History-sheeter Idris, with a reward of Rs 25,000, arrested, jailed

Moradabad, 16 April (HS). Bhagatpur police station and Special Operation Group team of the district arrested history-sheeter Idris with a reward of Rs 25,000 on Tuesday. History-sheeter Idris, resident of village Padiangala, was absconding for the last 20 years. There are 39 cases registered against him in various police stations.

The history sheet of Idrish, resident of Padiangala village of Bhagatpur police station, is open in Bhagatpur police station. Bhagatpur police station in-charge Krishna Kumar told that for the last 20 years, the accused Idrish was not appearing in the ongoing cases in the court. The court had declared him absconding and issued a permanent arrest warrant against him. Senior Superintendent of Police Hemraj Meena had also announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on the arrest of accused history-sheeter Irdish.

This evening information was received from the informer that Idrish had come to his relative's house in Thakurdwara town. After which SOG team and Bhagatpur police raided and arrested Idrish from Thakurdwara. During interrogation, accused Idrish told that he was living with his family in Pandari village of Sitarganj police station area of ​​Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.

The police station in-charge said that whether the accused was living in Sitarganj under his real name or by changing his name and hiding his identity, it is being investigated. Late in the evening, accused history-sheeter Idrish was presented in the court from where he has been sent to the district jail.
