The Indian stock market opened with gains today. Whereas yesterday also the market closed with a decline. The domestic stock market created a new history on Wednesday. After opening today's trading at 570, the Sensex has crossed 80 thousand for the first time. Although the market slowed down a bit in the first few minutes, the first lifetime high was a new record. The Sensex gained sharply for the first time at 80,039.22 points and the Nifty at 24,291.75 points. At 9:20 am, the Sensex closed at 24,232 points, up 358.44 points (0.45) and 107.80 points (0.45) above 79,800 points.
The market was sluggish in pre-open
In the pre-open session, the BSE Sensex rose by more than 750 points and crossed the 80 thousand mark and reached close to 80,200 points. Nifty closed at 24,300 points, up by about 170 points. Before the market opened, the Nifty future in GIFT City was up by about 140 points and close to 24,340 points. This was indicating that the market could start well today and create new records.
The market made an all-time high yesterday
Earlier, yesterday i.e. on July 2, the stock market had made an all-time high. During trading, the Sensex touched 79,855 and the Nifty touched 24,236. However, after this the market saw a decline. The Sensex fell 34 points to close at 79,441. Nifty was also down 18 points. It closed at 24,123.
