The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a very revolutionary and big decision in the interest of lakhs of students of class 10th and 12th. Those students whose marks did not change in the re-evaluation process after the results of the board exams and got the result of ‘No Change’, there is no need to be disappointed now. CBSE has announced to give a very unique and transparent opportunity to all such students to be completely satisfied with the verification of their copies. Under this new historic decision, students will now be able to go to the concerned board office to see and check their answer sheets closely in the presence of experts.
Board’s big step to bring transparency in re-evaluation system
This step of CBSE is being considered a huge milestone in the direction of bringing transparency in the school education system and evaluation system. Generally it is seen that even after re-evaluation, many students are not satisfied with their marks and many doubts remain in their mind regarding checking of copies. Principals and parents of schools falling under various regional centers of the country like Delhi, Prayagraj, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Patna have welcomed this decision of the Board with open hearts. With this new arrangement, students’ confidence in the board will be further strengthened.
Know how you will get a chance to see the answer sheet in the board office
According to the new guidelines issued by CBSE, students who had applied for re-evaluation and there was no increase in marks i.e. ‘no change’ in their result can now book slots to appear in the regional office of the board under a certain procedure. There the students will be shown their original answer sheet. Students will be able to see for themselves how their questions have been evaluated and whether there have been any technical mistakes in checking any question. During this time, subject experts of the board will also be present there who will solve the doubts of the students.
Take special care of the rules and dates for checking hard copies of copies.
To avail this special facility, CBSE is soon going to release a detailed timeline and guidelines on its official website. According to board officials, students will have to register for this through the online portal within a stipulated time limit. This facility will be available only to those students who have previously followed all the stages of revaluation in a phased manner. The Board believes that after the implementation of this new system, students will not have to make rounds of the courts and there will be a huge saving of both their time and money.
