Hisar, August 15 (HS). Vice Chairperson of Haryana Women Commission Sonia Agarwal inspected the women police station in Hansi. She checked the attendance register of the police station and also checked how many staff are deployed in the police station, how many women police personnel are on duty and how many are on leave. She inspected the women police station premises.

During her inspection on Thursday, Vice Chairperson Agrawal also checked the condition of SHO office, diary office, IO room and lockup. She also enquired about the development work under construction. She also enquired about CM window related to harassment of women. She enquired from DSP Dheeraj Kumar and Mahila Thana SHO Sunita Kumari about the cases of harassment of women in the area of ​​Hansi Police District. A total of 121 complaints have been received in the Mahila Thana so far this year. Out of these, 17 complaints are pending, the rest of the complaints have been resolved. Police informed that a total of 67 FIRs have been registered in the Mahila Thana, out of which 15 FIRs are pending, their investigation is going on.

Out of these 15 FIRs, two FIRs are pending in the High Court. Agrawal said that the working of the Hansi Mahila Thana team is good. On the cases of harassment of small girls, he said that the victims need not panic. The Women Commission is fully with the victim side. If the victim side is not satisfied with the action of the police, then they can come to the Women Commission. The Commission will get them justice. He said that the government, police and Women Commission are fully prepared for the safety of daughters and women. He said that those who commit atrocities on women and girls will not be spared. Awareness programs are being conducted in schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions to curb cases of sexual harassment. Counseling of victims is being done.
