Hisar, September 9 (HS). Vice Chancellor of Haryana Agricultural University, Prof. BR Kamboj has said that proper arrangements have been made to provide better educational facilities to the students in the university. Students have ample opportunities to make their future bright in agricultural education, so they should study hard while remaining disciplined.

Vice Chancellor Prof. BR Kamboj was addressing the students in the orientation program for the new students getting admission in the academic session 2024-25 in the College of Agriculture on Monday. He said that today is the time to turn challenges into opportunities. Students should take advantage of this and contribute to the development of society and country. He said that they are very fortunate that they have got the opportunity to study in this world famous university. Students should focus on personality development along with knowledge for building their career. World class facilities are available here, which they should take advantage of and achieve their goal. He gave information to the new students about the university's examination system, advisory and attendance system, hostel, medical and sports facilities, library etc.

The university has achieved many achievements at the national and international level by performing remarkably in various fields. He informed that the university has been given A+ grade by the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board (NAB) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Similarly, in the National Institutional Framework (NIRF) released by the Union Ministry of Education for the year 2024, it got third place among the agricultural universities of the country. Also, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University was the only government university of the state among the top universities of the country in the overall category.

Dean of Agriculture College Dr. SK Pahuja welcomed the new students on their entry into the university. Giving information about the rules of the university and college, he called upon them to be punctual and attend classes regularly and stay away from unwanted activities. He also highlighted the academic activities of the college and the facilities provided for the students. On this occasion, all the students went on the stage and gave their brief introduction. On this occasion, the deans, directors, officers, teachers, non-teaching staff and students of all the colleges were present.
