Hisar, September 2 (HS). The first randomization of EVM machines for the Haryana Assembly general elections was done in the VC room in the presence of District Election Officer Pradeep Dahiya and representatives of political parties. BU, CU and VVPAT were selected in the randomization.
District Election Officer Pradeep Dahiya said on Monday that 1333 polling stations have been set up in the district for the Haryana Assembly General Elections. First Level Checking (FLC) of EVM machines has been completed in the district. In FLC, it is decided which EVM machines are completely fine. Randomization process has been computerized to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection of machines used for elections. He said that the number of BU and CU for the elections was fixed at 120 percent of the number of polling stations and the number of VVPAT was fixed at 130 percent of the number of polling stations. He said that the machines selected in randomization have been distributed according to the assembly by randomization. He said that whenever such programs are organized regarding EVMs, all political parties will be called on the spot after giving them information.
