Hisar: Political parties silent on basic issues of employees and general public: Dharamveer Phogat

Hisar, 19 April (Hissar). State President of Sarva Karmachari Sangh Dharamveer Phogat has said that in the last 10 years the government has not made any policy in the interest of the employees and has not even considered the issues of the employees. He said that the Central Government even deprived the employees of 18 months of dearness allowance during the Corona period, which is condemnable. He was addressing the block level convention organized by Sarva Karmachari Sangh at Jat Dharamshala on Friday. In this, issues against the policies of the BJP government and employee issues were discussed.

The convention was presided over by Block Pradhan Omprakash Mal while Secretary Vinod Prabhakar conducted it. He said that he has also refused to constitute the Eighth Pay Commission. He said that the number of unemployed is continuously increasing in the country and the state. Government departments are being shrunk in the name of privatization and under the policies of privatization, all the work is being handed over to private hands.

The state head said that issues like confirmation of raw employees, restoration of old pension and new recruitment process etc. are missing from the BJP's resolution letter. There is a lot of anger among the employees regarding this. It is also quite dangerous for representatives to remain silent on employee issues. He said that BJP leaders are openly threatening the employees from the stage during the elections, which is a direct dictatorship and also a violation of the dignity of democracy. He said that employees are also voters. Considering the employees as a part of their state, their issues should be taken care of. He said that the employees also gave memorandums to the MLAs of all political parties regarding their issues, but no party took it seriously.

On the policies of the government, District Head of Teachers Association, Pramod Kumar said that government schools are being closed in the name of merger due to which the poor, especially girls, will be deprived of education. The negligence of private schools is continuously increasing and parents are being exploited a lot. District head Surendra Yadav said that a convention will be held in all the blocks of the district regarding the issues of employees.
