Hisar, August 14 (HS). A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Lala Lajpat Rai Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University. Officials from both sides were present at the time of signing of this MoU on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinod Kumar Verma.
The MoU was signed on behalf of LUVAS by Dr. Gulshan Narang, Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine and witnessed by Dr. Rajesh Khurana, Director, Human Resource and Management, LUVAS. The MoU was signed on behalf of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani by Prof. Sanjeev Kumar, Director, Research and witnessed by Prof. Lalita Gupta, Dean, School of Biological Sciences and Head, Department of Zoology. Dr. Rajesh Khurana, Director, Human Resource and Management said that the MoU includes collaborative research projects between LUVAS and CBLU for joint research initiatives in various scientific areas, student exchange program for sharing postgraduate students for research work, faculty exchange to create opportunities for faculty members to collaborate on research and teaching, enhancing the academic environment of both universities and sharing infrastructure to utilize the excellent infrastructure at CBLU and LUVAS for joint research and educational purposes.
Apart from this, various departmental laboratories including biotechnology, pharmacology and microbiology of CBLU and LUVAS can also be used in the field of common research projects of both the universities. Prof. Nitin Bansal, Dr. Parvati Sharma and Dr. Asha of CBLU Bhiwani also attended this MoU ceremony.
