Vice Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi has said that life saving procedures in emergency situations can prove to be a panacea to save any precious life. We all should be aware of emergency life saving procedures so that we can use them when needed.
Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi was addressing the workshop-cum-training program Basic Life Support (BLS) organized jointly by the National Service Scheme of the University and the University Health Center on Wednesday. This program was organized by the courtesy of Sapra Hospital. First Lady of the University Dr. Vandana Bishnoi was present as a special guest on this occasion. The program was organized by NSS coordinator Dr. Anju Gupta, Senior Medical Officer of the Health Center Dr. Sarina Hasija, CEO of Sapra Hospital Dr. Sunidhi Sapra.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi said that we should always be prepared for unexpected situations in life. Proper efforts made at the right time can be extremely useful. This workshop will not only make the participants aware of the principles of survival, but will also prove to be important in awakening sensitivity and service spirit towards the society in them. In the workshop, International Master Trainer Dr. Satinder Tanwar gave information about various aspects of Basic Life Support in a very simple and effective manner. He told that Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is used to support the blood circulation and respiration of the patient. Dr. Vikas Jangra thanked everyone. About 400 participants were present in the workshop. Dr. Sunil and Dr. Neeta of University Health Center, along with NSS Program Officer Dr. Vikramjit Singh, Dr. Vinita, Dr. Sunita Rani, Dr. Narendra, Dr. Lalit Sharma, Dr. Vikas Jangra and Dalbir were present in the program.
