Hisar, 23 April (Hissar). Due to sudden change in weather in the district, light to moderate rain occurred at many places on Tuesday afternoon. Light storm also occurred at many places. Heavy rain was recorded in Narnaund area due to which the yellow gold lying in the grain market of the farmers got wet. Farmers have suffered huge losses due to rain. Earlier too, farmers have suffered losses due to hailstorm. Farmers have not yet received compensation for their losses.
Farmers Kuldeep, Amarjeet, Jaiveer, Balbir, Rampal, Rajkumar Nambardar told that due to rain, our crop has also been lost in the grain market because a huge quantity of wheat is already kept under the shed in the market. For the last several days, lifting work is not going on in the market due to which farmers are facing a lot of problems. The rain that fell on Tuesday. The crop has become wet due to this. Now this crop can be sold only after drying. If there were proper arrangements to keep it in the market, the crop would not have got wet. All the claims of the government are proving to be unsuccessful. Farmers will not be allowed to face any problem in the grain market. No facilities are being provided to the farmers in the grain market. Farmers' crops were completely destroyed due to the recent hailstorm, and while there was still some work left, the rains have now completed it.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of change in the weather for two more days. Chairman of HAU Meteorological Department, Dr. ML Khichad said that the weather in the state is generally likely to remain changeable but dry till April 25. During this period, there is also a possibility of light clouds appearing occasionally. During this period, there may be a slight increase in the day temperature but there may be a slight drop in the night temperature. There is a possibility of wind blowing at light speed in between but change in weather is possible after April 26.
